Your Coach

A different kind of coaching — because you’re at a different kind of moment

Most coaching is designed with a general framework: work with a partner — hopefully well-trained and credentialed — to help you discover, brainstorm, deepen insights, make decisions, and get things done. But it’s not what most of my clients need when they arrive.

They’ve tried to make changes, maybe even sought therapy — which was helpful but didn’t address what they need to get where they want to go. What they want now is a real process and a trusted partner — someone who can hold career, life, health, relationships, and purpose in one conversation without reducing any of it, and help them create a new exceptional life design.

That is what I offer.

How I coach

I don’t believe in selling DIY training and sending clients off to apply it alone. I believe in being a genuine thinking partner — asking the questions you haven’t thought to ask, naming the patterns you can’t see, and holding you accountable to what you actually said you wanted, to help you get it.

My own path took far longer than it needed to, mostly because I had no one doing this for me. That’s the gap I coach to close. You shouldn’t have to spend years finding your way to clarity when a clear program combined with professional guidance can get you there far faster.

My approach

The MASTERFUL LIFE Redesign program is a structured, whole-life process. It’s not therapy, not traditional career counseling, and not a course you work through alone. It’s collaborative, comprehensive, and built around you — your strengths, your values, your own definition of “having it all” — because what matters most to a truly fulfilled life is yours to define.

We work through five interconnected steps: your current circumstances, your full-life foundation, your vision for genuine satisfaction, your personal power and leadership, and the practical path forward. The structure creates clarity. The partnership keeps you moving. Along the way, we cover all the research-based areas of a genuinely fulfilling life — health, career, finances, relationships, and more — so nothing important gets left out of the picture.
Most clients are surprised by how quickly the fog begins to lift when there’s a real process and someone who has walked this terrain guiding the conversation.

Training and credentials

I take professional coaching seriously — both what it can do for clients and what genuine credentialling requires.

I graduated from Coach University, one of the original founding coach training programs in the world. I earned the Professional Certified Coach credential through the International Coaching Federation, and directed the committee that created the ICF Code of Ethics and Ethical Conduct Review Process. I hold a founding Board Certified Coach credential from the Center for Credentialing & Education — an independent global credentialing body. My academic credentials include a BSN from the University of Michigan and a JD from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, followed by training in mediation, business and marketing.

If you’re evaluating coaches, I’d encourage you to delve into their background. The title “coach” is unregulated, and the difference in preparation and experience is significant.

What I bring to the work

Along with more than 25 years of coaching experience, I am certified in multiple modalities including life and career transition, entrepreneurship and money, retirement and life options, and neurolinguistic programming (NLP). I also hold certifications in the behavioral and communication frameworks I use to help clients understand their strengths and interact more effectively with the people around them.

I bring additional depth in behavioral assessment, neuroscience, communication styles, personal peak performance, mediation, estate planning and legacy planning, and wellness — because mid-career reinvention is rarely just about a job change.

How we work together

For efficiency, most clients begin with the full MASTERFUL LIFE Redesign program, a comprehensive set of activities combined with customized coaching input in a confidential supportive small group.

Or they may opt for private 1:1 coaching with a higher level of personal attention. However, private coaching is available on a very limited basis, is more costly, and lacks the shared insight and synergy from others doing similar work.

All work is done virtually — through the program platform and interactive conference calls — which means geography is never a limitation.

The place to start

A complimentary New Direction Clarity Consultation is available. It’s a real conversation about where you are, what you’re trying to create, and whether working together is the right fit for us both.
